Welcome:
The Guelph Bridge Club welcomes new members to our Club. We currently
have more than 195 members and our numbers are growing.
Our
fully-accessible, dedicated facility is a comfortable place to enjoy
duplicate bridge.
With
5 sanctioned games and 3 practice sessions every, members and
non-members can play and learn bridge at their convenience.
All skill levels are welcome. Courses and practice sessions are
provided for beginners as well as experienced players.
Socialize:
The Guelph Bridge Club fosters a friendly, welcoming attitude among
players.
Enjoyment of the game is foremost in the goals set by our
Board of Directors.
Social time before regular games allows you to
quickly become a part of the group.
Our game directors will be happy to
find you a suitable partner so you feel comfortable and welcome at our
Club.
We provide complimentary hot beverages and spring water, with
cold beverages at a small cost.
Game Fees:
We aim to keep costs low to encourage all players. Regular game fees
are just $5.00 for members; $7.00 for non-members.
To become a Member:
Becoming a member is easy. Just let the Game Director at any game know
you want to join.
Do it the first time you play and start
receiving your discounts right away!
OR: Complete the ONLINE FORM for membership. Submit payment when you arrive at the Club or by mail. Annual Membership runs from September 1 - to - August 31. The membership fee is $60.00
Membership Rewards:
1. Reduced game and tuition fees; Save $2.00 per game and $25.00 per course.
2. Participate in and vote at meetings of the members on club policies and the election of Directors.
3. Stand for election as a Director / Officer of the club.
4. Volunteer on a club committee.
5. Use of our lending library of bridge books and fiction.
6. Member handbook.
